![]() ![]() My apologies if i have offended anyone here, but this seems too easy to not be doable on Autodesk's part. ![]() Having this small change (in my opinion) would allow designer(s) to run specific iso sheets of a line that goes accross the whole plant and that is split up into different sub-areas without having to run the whole line. The ability to assign a sheet number to a group of component and then be able to search and run just the sheets you want would be tremendous. but should actually be an AND function (I.e.) Line number AND Spec, Line number AND Plant Area (if defined), WBS or the one everyone is screaming for Line number AND SheetNumber. The "Split Iso When Property Changes" in the Advanced isometric settings should actually read Isometric Splitting Criteria and the choices should not be an OR function (I.e.) Line number OR Service OR Spec. The idea that you have to sift through 10 isometrics to find the one you made changes to in lunacy, inefficient and a monumental waste of time. I think it's flawed to assume a designer wants to run an isometric of a linenumber that goes accross the whole plant when he/she is only resposible for a small portion of that line that runs through his/her area. Using tools create a 4-center ellipse on each plane. Apby 10pm AEST Available from: Week 1 Weight: 25 Minimum 25 Preamble: Engineers must be confident with reading. While this is a workble solution/work-around it is not the ultimate solution that is desperately needed in Plant3d Isometrics. One method of drawing an elipse that represents an isometric. ![]()
